This 1 v 1 knock-out (bracket) tournament is based on the European exploits of Liverpool FC.
8 places are reserved for Liverpool fans, the other 8 places are therefore anti-scousers.
Each round will be based on the actual ties that took place. Each two-legged tie involves 4 to 7 games (except the final which is one match: 2 to 5 games).
Home advantage: The home team will kick-off in all parts of their home legs* (in the final, at a neutral venue, the first kick-off will be determined by random.org, subsequent kick-offs will alternate) . Freemiums must be ready to join 2 games at all times, or be removed from the competition by UEFA.
Special Rules: show
Each match will involve two halves (each half being a seperate CC 'game'). The home team kicks-off both halves* (including extra-time) [in the final, at a neutral venue, the first kick-off will be determined by random.org, subsequent kick-offs will alternate] .green should go first , so, if you are green then play whenever you are ready. Red must wait 2 hours to take the first turn.* In the later rounds if two players starting as the same team (i.e. Liverpool/Rest of Europe) are drawn together then the first player drawn will be (temporarily) assigned as the home team for the 1st leg and the away team for the second leg. Question: If green misses his first turn, or he takes more than 2 hours, would red end up going first?Answer: Red would end up going first. In the following round, red would be set to go first (although green can attempt to tackle back at any time).
Matches & Scoring: show
First half (Other settings are default). Second half (Other settings are default). Extra-time (if aggregate scores and away goals are equal at the end of the second leg / final) (Other settings are default). Penalties (if scores are still equal after extra-time) (Other settings are default - and penalties are sequential).
Signing-Up show
To sign-up you must state: (a) Whether you will represent Liverpool or the Rest of Europe; (b) That you have read, understood and will abide by the special rules. Failure to state the former will result in random allocation. Players failing to state they have read the rules waive their right of complaint.
