How to Play Conquer World: the Basics

There is a fun new game on Triqqy ("Other Games") called Conquer World. I understand it has a bit of a steep learning curve, so I'm writing this guide to help people get at least the basics.

The game is pitched as "Risk Meets Civilization", since it has elements of both these games (though it more like Risk than Civ).

Note: I wrote this guide when the game was first released to Beta and it was still called Conquer Forces. The strategies have changed quite a bit recently (I don't even use this strategy anymore). However, it's still a good basic/starting strategy that will get you into the game.

I just went to Open Requests link and I could not access any of the games.

I'm wondering if this is a browser issue on my side or if the Open Requests link is down right now (because Beta).

Edit: Active Games Access works fine.

Edit: Active Games Access works fine.

Hi TX. It's a really strange system. The game number isn't assigned until after the game starts. It doesn't work like Conquer Club's Game Finder at all. Basically you just have to wait until enough people request the same settings. To match up, you still have to create a game and then match it to the settings on that link. Or you can just make your own settings and invite some friends.

Somebody with pictures might be able to help. I can invite you to a game if you want.

admin could not find a problem, the card had to be played on an opponents territory, not yours.. was that the issue?

Anyway, they played the card to test, game is now waiting on your next move.

game is worse then candy crush,cant even pick a leader,cant do crap already missed turns so got booted out,in my other gamne no place to even pick a leader,so looks all 3 games will be a bust,pretty lame

Followed up from day it started in Beta and not a fan at all, I think it shouldn't be in our Central Command page either, also this type of "other game" is data consuming and it takes forever to play a turn so much it involve...a draw of power from the server while CC is already not at the speed it should be.

I've played in other games before through the simulator. Just figured out I have to click on the map yellow circle spot to start a game properly, but after I took my first turn it got stuck. The other player is a bot and he isn't taking his turn or anything???

He takes a bit of time because there needs to be a chance for other people to join the game.

Oh ok, thanks, 4 days seems like a long time to wait but at least I know why now
