New Map Making Feature - Map Image Swapping

Concise description:

Change map image in the middle of game

Specifics/Details:

I am suggesting to implement XML or map mechanism which allow to change map images in the middle of games
Map image change may happen after each players turn or depending on some player take or hold some codition
Example 1: Think About a Darknor - Level 2 map where arrows direction change after each players turn
Example 2: Think About a fancy map where map changes to a different one when a player take specific location on map such as Throne which symbolize a regime change and change of rules & everything in the country

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

1. More fun maps
2. New type of game play.
3. New Stratergies
4. New type of tournaments
5. New Medals
6. More new players attract to site
7. Site revenue increase
8. Site owners happy
9. Site owners invest more capital to site improvements
10. Site will get more and more improvements
11. Playes will be happy
12. Go to above 6. and cycle repeat again

Edit : to change the suggested feature name from Map Image Transform to Map Image Swapping

There is no map working the way I suggested.
And
Currently avilable XML <transform> thing which has not yet used in any map is not doing this thing I suggested.
It do some different thing.

Ah ok transformation is what I was thinking even tho it hasn’t been used it exists and I thought it was accomplishing the goal

Ah ok transformation is what I was thinking even tho it hasn’t been used it exists and I thought it was accomplishing the goal

No transforms are basically conditional auto-deploy/decay can only change the size of the stack not ownership or other gameplay.

I have a few maps with transforms on the beta site that I am hoping to migrate to the live site by the end of this year

would the transformation be random? or would it be a set feature of the map that can be planned for?

Well I think the feature I am suggesting should have another name than "Transform" as there is already a different feature with that name.
So I thing better name for my suggestion would be "Map Image swap"

There was a feature that is talked about in the map foundry called stages. That is similar to this but I don't know much about it and do not believe the code exists for it anymore. I don't know if it was just a feature that was planned and never got off the ground or if over the years the code got lost and vanished.
